June 2023, Part 5: Magic Kingdom

While we were at Ormond, we drove over to Orlando one morning with my parents to spend the day at Magic Kingdom! It was HOT, but sooooo much fun! It was our first time to a Disney park since the introduction of Genie Plus, and we are big fans! We were amazed at how it enabled us to almost walk right on to so many rides. We will definitely be using Genie Plus again when we go to Disneyland later this year!

{Grampy was "that guy" in the Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor show, and we all loved it so much! In all of our trips to Disney World & Disneyland over the years, not one of us had ever seen this show before! The only reason we decided to go to the show was to get a break from the heat in the AC, but we were so pleasantly surprised! It was one of our favorite parts of the day!}

{The People Mover was an unexpected hit of the day for Brady & Hadley! They rode it once with Grammy & Grampy while Derek, Shelby, and I were on Space Mountain...and then they requested to ride People Mover again with all of us together!}

June 2023, Part 4: Ormond Beach Week #1

A few candid shots from our first week at Ormond Beach with the five of us + my parents. Highlights included trips to our favorite restaurants--High Tides at Snack Jack, Hull's, & Stavro's--plus a stop at a new local ice cream shop and countless hours spent on the beach building drip-drop castles & riding the waves on boogie boards!

Putt-putt is a must every time we come to the beach! We had a random mild, overcast morning, which was the perfect weather! We are usually drenched in sweat every other year!
