Just letting everyone know that the Civic has officially been sold! We put the ad on AutoTrader and CraigsList last Sunday, and I finalized the deal this afternoon. Interest in the car started off pretty slow, but I got a lot of emails and calls Friday and yesterday. I showed the car to 2 people yesterday. One person had to try to get financing, but the second came back today with cash so it was a done deal.

I think Sarah was a little emotional about the whole situation since she has had a lot of memories over the past 9.5 years in the Civic. However, when I showed her the cash I think she was a little more accepting of the situation. We considered trading the Civic in when we bought the CR-V, but I figured I could get more money for it this way. And it worked out in our favor! I'm glad to have everything finalized with the cars. Now I'm on to the next item on my "to do before the move" list.
On a completely different subject, I got my official orders to move to Biloxi on Tuesday and I put the paperwork in for the Air Force to move our things. As of right now, the plan is to have them move us out on June 1st. This way, our stuff will arrive in Biloxi during my first couple of days there so I can get us moved into our new house on Keesler before Sarah gets there!
Tomorrow I start my radiology rotation at USUHS, and we've got a doctor's appointment for Sarah in the afternoon...we'll keep you posted!
