Elly's First Birthday!

Last weekend we traveled to Birmingham to celebrate our niece's first birthday! We had so much fun celebrating Elly and spending time with family.

They did a cute owl theme for the party, and Elly even had a matching owl smash cake!

There were lots of kids at Elly's birthday party & they were all eager to help open her gifts! :)

On Sunday morning before we headed back to Biloxi, we had a mini photo shoot of the cousins. Derek's mom always likes to buy matching outfits for the girls and have their pictures made in them. We often have to settle for individual shots of the girls in their outfits since we live so far apart, but whenever we're together we always have to squeeze in a photo shoot. Derek's mom got them the cutest little spring outfits...and of course some St. Patty's Day attire to throw in there, too! ;)

Photo shoots don't last very long when you're working with 2 one year olds, but I still think we got some cute shots that represent what life is really like with these cousins right now!
