Happy New Year, Everyone!
Our New Year got off to a good start with two more days off of work for Derek. :) We spent New Year's Day at home & then on the 2nd we spent the morning at Chuck E. Cheese as a family. Then Derek took the girls home for naps, so I could do some shopping. I was thankful to be able to have some time alone to shop, but let me just say shopping for clothes after having had two babies just isn't nearly as fun as shopping used to be! I much prefer shopping for cute matching little girl outfits these days than searching for a pair of jeans that will actually fit, be comfortable, & somewhat cute. I think the most frustraing part of my postpartum body is that I am actually at the same weight as I was before both girls were born, but nothing fits quite the same. And then there's the challenge of trying to find cute clothes that are comfortable enough to spend the day on floor in while I play with the girls. Ugh, but enough about that! ;) Back to our Christmas recaps...
Our last day in GA was spent celebrating Christmas in Stone Mountain with Granddad, Grandma, Uncle Lucas, Aunt Maleah, Elly, & Leland! It's always so fun to have everyone together! Shelby had a blast playing with Elly & all of the dogs at Granddad & Grandma's house!
