Ice Ice Baby!

We are in GA this week to be here for my dad's knee replacement surgery.

His surgery was on Tuesday the 11th, and Derek & my mom were both there with him at Piedmont Hospital. The girls & I hung back at my parents' house in preparation for the big ice storm that Atlanta is currently enduring. Derek made it back from the hospital late Tuesday night before the weather started. Emily's school was cancelled so she also made the drive to my parents' on Tuesday night. Today, the four of us have been iced in at my parents' with my sister. Thankfully, Shelby enjoyed the ice a whole lot more than she did a couple of weeks ago in Biloxi! Here's a few pictures of our day...

right off in the shape of the leaf...she thought it was so cool!

Thankfully the ice has worn these two girls out! ;)  The forecast is calling for snow tonight, so hopefully we'll get to wake up to snow tomorrow so Shelby will finally be able to build a snowman!

Grampy is recovering well from his surgery yesterday & we're hoping the roads will clear up soon so we can go visit him & then bring him home when he's ready!
