Shelby's 9th Birthday!

On Tuesday, September 17th, our Shelby-girl turned NINE years old!!!

Since Shelby's birthday fell mid-week, she got the luxury of stretching out the celebrations from the weekend before her birthday to the weekend after! ;)  She requested dark chocolate cake with chocolate icing this year & brought brownies into school to share with her classmates. We squeezed in birthday donuts, bowling, presents, and our annual birthday trip to Barnes & Noble. We had lots of fun celebrating this board/card game loving, book aficionado, hilarious, conscientious, fun, sweet NINE YEAR OLD!

So hard to believe that next year we'll be celebrating her first double-digit birthday!! Where has the time gone?! We just couldn't be more thankful that this girl is ours. We love you so much, Shelby-girl!
