TEN!

Whew, I have a LOT of updates to share!! But first, I can't let September come and go without posting about Shelby's 10th birthday!! TEN! So crazy to think that Derek & I have been parents for a decade now! Where has the time gone?!

The Birthday Girl got exactly what she wanted for all 3 meals on her special day--cinnamon muffins for breakfast at home, her teachers had Chick-fil-a delivered for her lunch, and we ordered pizza for dinner! And of course chocolate cake + dark chocolate frosting for dessert :)

All three kiddos had been wondering & wondering what this teeny tiny present was....it was a bike bell! Shelby thought it was for her old bike until Daddy wheeled out a brand new bike with gears & hand brakes, a big upgrade for Shelby!

The Saturday morning following Shelby's birthday called for birthday donuts and a Shelby/Mommy afternoon date for a treat & annual trip to Barnes & Noble. 

This girl is so much fun to celebrate! She's kind, funny, hard-working, honest, and always up for for a board game! What a gift she is to our family. We love you, Shelby-girl!!!!
