Summer Reading

So thankful for summertime & more free time to read! I have been spending a good bit of the kids' daily afternoon quiet time reading poolside, and it has been delightful! The only book out of this bunch that fell flat for me was Send For Me by Lauren Fox. I particularly enjoyed In Five Years (I liked this one so much that I immediately put another book by the same author on hold at the library!) and Eliza Starts a Rumor. But hands-down the best book I've read in a while is this one below. Kristin Hannah is one of my favorite story-tellers, and this is a story set in the Great Depression that just sticks with you.
