These pictures uploaded in reverse order with the snapshots from the end of April appearing at the beginning of the post, which really drives me bonkers....but I'm just going with it for now.
This first bunch of photos is from the annual Cornyval Parade in Helotes every Spring. Our school has a float in the parade, and then the parade route ends at our campus so we have a big picnic with all of our school families afterward. We had Hadley's BFF come home with us after the parade & picnic to cool off in the pool!
Shelby had her Spring Recital with SAMA and did amazing! It is so fun to watch & listen to her play.
Spring brought fun school projects for us to work on at home together as a family. Our school hosted its first ever Science Night & Spaghetti Dinner. Shelby conducted her experiment titled "The Power of PH on Plants" and had a blast sharing her findings with our school community. Brady worked on his homemade goat costume for a Three Billy Goats Gruff play he performed with his classmates.
{The Collective children ate their spaghetti dinner before giving their science presentations. At the conclusion of the evening, all of the Collective children gathered together again & got to eat a second dinner. They were each given their own loaf of French bread to take home, and it was most fun to hear them all chanting "Bread, bread, bread!" It was such a fun night for this sweet group of kids.}
Thanks to a Christmas gift from BooBoo, we went to Andretti's for the first time & it was a hit!
Over Easter Weekend, we went camping at Buescher State Park and came home to find that the Easter Bunny had been to our house!
Shelby used her money to buy a letter board for her room and had so much fun with it!
We tried our hand at homemade cake pops courtesy of a recipe in one of Hadley's cookbooks, and they turned out pretty yummy!
{Every now and again we would run through the Chick-fil-a drive thru after school and then head to the park to enjoy a little extra sunshine. I snapped this photo of Shelby while we were chatting and the other two were playing...it was such an ordinary, yet magical moment.}
{We had the most tangled skein of yarn...Hadley and I worked for a few days together and were so proud when we reached this point!}
Shelby had an early flag football game one Saturday morning with absolutely nothing else on our family's agenda for the rest of the day. We figured since the game would get us up and out of the house early, we should make the most the most of our day! So, we decided to head downtown to play at Hemisfair Park and then we enjoyed lunch at the Chart House restaurant at the top of the Tower of the Americas. It was such a fun way to spend our Saturday together!
