June, Part Two: Georgia

Derek was scheduled to arrive back to Alaska from Japan the day before the kids & I left for Georgia, but as it turned out we crossed paths in the sky! After one cancelled flight & a four hour delay, Derek was en route from Seattle to Anchorage at the exact same time we were en route from Anchorage to Seattle. ;)  We were sad to miss him before heading out for a few days in Georgia.

{I would also like the record to reflect that each of our four carry-on suitcases were 20-30lbs, and I lifted all four of them into the overhead bins for both of our flights. My arms felt like jello by the end, but I did it!}

I feel like I did a terrible job photographing our time with family & friends during our visit, but here's a quick recap of some of things we did {I'm sure I'm missing a few!}: visited my sister's fam in McDonough; had a tea party with Granddad, Grandma, & cousins in Stone Mountain; visited the Goins family in Canton; met my friend Lindsey for a quick breakfast in Braselton; my sister brought her boys to my parents' house one afternoon for a pool day; and lots & lots of family time!
