Home Sweet Home

After an eleven hour journey, we made it back to Biloxi yesterday evening just in time to give Miss Shelby a bath & a bottle and put her sleepy little self to bed. {She only slept for a grand total of 45 minutes in the car, and she normally gets about 5 hours of sleep between her morning and afternoon naps..so to say she was tired would be the understatement of the year!}

Derek was beyond thrilled to finally get his hands on his baby girl after being away from her this past month. It was the sweetest thing to see the two of them together again last night. We were all so happy to be home and to be together as a family again.

I am currently in the throes of unpacking, laundry, going through mail, cleaning, and all of the other fun stuff that goes along with coming home after you've been away for 31 days. But once we get caught up on our rest & housework, I'll be back with a recap of our trip and Part Two of Shelby's 10 month post. I know you're probably on the edge of your seat right now! ;)
