On the Move!
Shelby had a new trick to show her Daddy when we got home on Sunday night...
The last two or three days of our vacation, Shelby finally figured out that she could use her arms to pull herself forward. We were ecstatic! Since this is still a pretty new skill she has developed, Shelby is still working on her speed and confidence. We are calling this her "army crawl" {although Derek prefers the term "air force crawl!"} or "scoot." We have no idea how long it will take before this progresses into a full-on crawl, but we are thrilled to say that we now have a baby on the move! Watch out, world!

YAY Shelby!!! What a big girl you are! Oh Sarah, life is about to get 20x harder but 30x more fun! :) I'm so excited after seeing this video. She's going to have it down pat in no time. And, you were right in a previous post, you'll miss the days of being able to sit her somewhere and relax for a few moments- those days are long gone! HA! :) So glad you posted this.
