Hotel Fun!

Remember how much fun we had staying in a hotel with Shelby when she was six months old? In case you need a little refresher on how miserable it was, you can click HERE. Oh, but times have changed. Shelby now loves hotels! Who knew?!

We took a quick little two-day trip up to Jackson to visit Derek and stayed with him in his hotel room there. Shelby napped great and slept in till 8 both mornings..she loved exploring everything in the hotel room {my favorite part was that she could open and close all the drawers & cabinets b/c there wasn't anything in them!}..but this was hands-down the reason she loved the hotel so much....
She loved walking back and forth down the long empty hallways of the hotel over and over and over again. Shelby always gets so frustrated using her walker at home b/c she's always running into furniture or a wall or something. But this was perfect for her! Several times while we were sitting in the hotel room, she would get her walker and just walk it over to the door as if she was asking if she could go out in the hall..it was hilarious how much she enjoyed this!

Laundry and unpacking awaits me, but hopefully I'll be back soon to {finally} finish up our Christmas recaps and fill you in on our trip to Jackson!
