Because my hubby is oh so sweet, he came home for a couple of quick trips while he was in Jackson last month. {And by quick, I mean quick. He spent 6 hours driving round-trip for less than 24 hours at home.} One of the days he was here, it was so beautiful outside that we decided to head to the beach for the morning. I love the fact that we live on the coast, so we can just pick up and go to the beach anytime we want!
Shelby had the best time booty-scooting on the sand! She was just in heaven with a huge grin on her face the entire time.
This next picture sums up how we spent the majority of our time on the beach....
We did this about 30 times in a row..no lie. Shelby would scoot down close to the water, then Derek would pick her up and take her back up on the beach...then she would race back down to Daddy and repeat the game all over again. She thought it was so fun!
Then all of a sudden out of nowhere (or out of mid-scoot!), Shelby finally noticed the sand!
She enjoyed playing with the sand and getting it all over herself! ;)
Then it was time to head home for lunch & naptime..what a fun family morning!
Look at that firey hair in the sunshine!! She has the most beautiful head of hair I've ever seen Sarah.
