The hygienist even let Shelby watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse while she waited for the dentist to come check her teeth, which made Shelby love her even more! ;) When we left, they gave her a special certificate for having a great first visit & she got to visit the treasure box.
When we were leaving the dentist, they went ahead & scheduled us for our next visit in March...hard to believe we have a one year old on our hands the next time we go!
It's really great to look back on those things. Such as your kid's first visit to the dentist, right? I'm glad that Shelby's first dental appointment had been enjoyable for her. I hope that has motivated her to take care of her teeth some more in the future. :)

Well, how did your last visit go? It seems you all went with Hadley back then. I hope her checkups went as good as Shelby’s. It’s such a great thing to have an awesome and kid-friendly hygienist, which made those trips easy for you. Cheers!
