Just One More Birthday Post :)

Just a few more birthday pictures/anecdotes that I forgot to include in the other posts! :)

We've always thought that Elly & Shelby look a lot alike, and while it's kind of hard to tell from this picture Hadley & Leland really look a good bit a like, too!! He even has some red in his hair!

And speaking of Hadley...she had a rough time during Shelby's birthday weekend! We had her 6 month check-up the day before everyone arrived. She was totally fine until the pediatrician got close to her, and then she proceeded to freak out. The doctor asked if she had stranger anxiety, to which we replied "we don't think so." She said 6 months was a bit too young for stranger anxiety.....well, Hadley must have disagreed! Because our little laid-back, always smiling & content baby was NOT happy for the entire weekend unless Mama or Daddy was holding her...it was PITIFUL!

The only things I forgot to take pictures of were the cupcakes/cupcake toppers & the favors/favor tags. Oh, well! ;)  For the favors, we gave all of the kids a Sesame Street book. The babies also got a Sesame Street bathtime book, the toddlers got a Sesame Street coloring book, and the "big kids" got a Sesame Street dry erase activity book.

I can't tell you how much I love doing birthday parties at a place like Kangarooz or Monkey Joe's...it just makes life so easy! All we had to do was bring some cupcakes & favors {although they will take care of those for you too if you want them to!}, and boom--that was it! And the best part is, Shelby LOVED it & I wasn't stressed! I hope when Shelby is a bit older that we can have parties at our house with cutesy themed activities, but for this age when all the kiddos want to do is run around & play...this is perfect!

I still can't believe my baby is three!
