Auntie Em is Here!

Hadley & I picked up my sister from the airport yesterday morning while Shelby was at school, and Shelby was overjoyed to see Auntie Em waiting for her at pick-up yesterday afternoon! We had a fun first day with Auntie Em!

Auntie Em has been reading non-stop since she got here per the girls' constant requests ;)

When Derek got home yesterday evening, we all ate dinner together then Derek held down the fort for bath/bedtime routines so Emi & I could sneak out for Gone Girl...it was seriously such a good movie!!!

I woke up around 6:15 this morning (as usual for me) in the hopes of getting my shower done & dinner going in the crockpot before everyone woke up, but everyone was still asleep by the time those two things were completed. I still had time to clean up the kitchen, get two loads of laundry done as well as start this blog post before anyone stirred!! Apparently Auntie Em, Shelby, & Hadley were exhausted!! It's just now 8:15, and I think everyone is awake or starting to wake up!

We're looking forward to a fun couple of days with Auntie Em!! Happy Wednesday, Everyone!!
