Chatter Box :)

I realized the other day that we had NO videos of  Hadley's sweet little voice, which seemed ridiculous becuase she is quite the chatter box these days! I think the lack of videos of her can simply be chalked up to her being the second born. ;)

She is literally talking up a storm these days. Some of Hadley's favorite phrases right now are: "I did it!" (usually after climbing up something on the playground) and "have it please" (whenever she sees ANYTHING in my hands or Shelby's hands, this is what we hear!). After I changed Hadley's diaper the other day, she picked out the book Baby's First 100 Words off of her bookshelf. This is not a book I ever read with her (the 2011 version of myself is gasping in horror right now b/c I read that book at LEAST once every day with Shelby), so I was shocked to hear her spout off almost all 100 words correctly without batting an eye. Her vocabulary is insane! And thankfully, her increased communication skills are helping diffuse her tantrums! Hooray! :)

Hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween weekend! Cooler temperatures arrived in San Antonio this weekend, and we are seriously loving this weather! Nice, cool mornings/evenings with warm afternoons--it's delightful! I'll try to get our Halloween pictures up on the blog soon! :)  Happy almost Monday, everyone!
