33.5 weeks

Yesterday I had my second to last prenatal appointment here in San Antonio {assuming all goes according to plan...ahem, are you listening Baby Boy?!}, so I figured it was about time for another quick pregnancy update!

{33 weeks}
How far along: 33.5 weeks! When I typed 33, that seemed crazy to me! Like that's super pregnant! But in my head, we're not having a baby for what seems like eons. I guess that's probably b/c even though we're only a few weeks out from my due date, we still have to squeeze in a house-hunting trip & a move before then! ;)  So having a baby still seems really far off right now!

Weight Gain: As of my appointment yesterday, I was up 22 pounds from my pre-pregnancy weight.

Maternity clothes: So thankful for another summer pregnancy where I can live in skirts & maxi dresses :)

Sleep: Sleeping great with the exception of 1-2 bathroom trips per night, but thankfully I always fall right back asleep once I get back in bed. I've definitely been having more vivid dreams lately, too!

Movement: Yes! :)

Food cravings: Nope! Almost to the end of pregnancy #3, and I still have yet to experience any "cravings."

Symptoms: Feeling great! My hips have started to bother me a bit, which they did towards the end of my other two pregnancies as well. But I remember being more bothered by my hip sat night when I was trying to sleep with the other two, whereas this time around I notice it more during the day..weird! But it's nothing too terrible, so I can't complain!

Gender: BOY! Still trying to wrap our brains around that ;)

What I miss: Nothing!

Best moment this week: I don't know if this was a "best" moment, but it sure was memorable! ;)  At my appointment yesterday, the doctor asked me if I'd already filled out the pre-admit paperwork at Labor & Delivery. I told her no b/c we weren't planning on delivering here in San Antonio...apparently I hadn't mentioned our upcoming move to her yet. ;)  She looked really shocked & then asked when we were leaving, and after hearing my response it took her a couple of minutes to process what I'd told her. "Speechless" would be the best way to describe her reaction. ;)  Of course she expressed her concerns to us about traveling that late in my pregnancy and gave me a few tips to hopefully help things go as smoothly as possible. I appreciated her honest feedback with me about our situation, and it was a good reminder for us to be prepared {as much as we can be} for the unexpected. Whenever I think about having this baby, it's past my due date. Since both girls came after 41 weeks, I keep thinking this baby will follow suit & be the same way. But the reality is that this baby could very well surprise us & come early! Fingers crossed that won't be the case though! ;)

And the best part of our prenatal checkups is getting to sneak in a quick visit with Daddy!!! :)

Miss Hadley has been my little sidekick to  every single prenatal appointment for her baby brother, and she's been such a good little buddy! {I tried to schedule all of my appointments while Shelby was in school.} When we were at Keesler, I always hired a sitter or left Shelby with one of our friends on base during my OB appointments for Hadley. Taking one kid along to the doctor seemed so Herculean back then, but once you have two kids...taking only one with you seems like a breeze! Perspective is everything, people! And it certainly doesn't hurt that this girl is a complete angel at the hospital every single time we go, she has everyone there wrapped around her finger!
