St. George!

Between sick kids, Halloween, a trip to Zion National Park, and a visit from Grammy & Grampy, I have fallen way behind on the blog! So now it's time for catch-up :)

The Saturday before last we loaded up the car and made the short two hour drive to spend the day in St. George, Utah! There is a big family farm there in St. George that has tons of fun fall festivities that we wanted to check out. We were originally just going to do the farm and call it a day, but our friends/neighbors are from St. George and recommended a few other spots for us to visit so we decided to just make a day of it! We had so much fun, and I definitely think we'll be making another trip to St. George again soon!

This first picture doesn't really do it justice, but part of the drive went straight through a mountain! It was crazy!

We got into St. George before the farm opened, so we decided to visit Thunder Junction All Abilities Park first. We would highly recommend this place! It was a ton of fun!! So many cool things to do there.

{There is a cute little train ride that you can take around the park. Here we are after boarding!}

After about an hour at the park and a quick snack, we headed over to Staheli Family Farm. SO FUN!! And we were so proud of Hadley!! She often gets nervous/hesitant about rides/new things and prefers to just hang back and watch Shelby. But Hadley was so brave and rode a horse for the first time and rode in the cow train for the first time, too! We were so sure she was going to ride it once and be done, but she loved the cow train so much she did it about 4 more times! And she even did the big slides!

{The girls & I did this jumping pillow together, and it was their favorite!}

After the farm, we headed over to The Pizza Factory & a local cafe/bakery for cupcakes per our friends' suggestions, and these places did not disappoint! The Pizza Factory is known for their gigantic breadsticks, and they were a big hit! Hadley just enjoyed playing with the sticks they're baked on ;)

The children's museum was super close to our cupcake stop (no pics of the cupcakes b/c we ate them too fast!), so we stopped there for a short visit before heading back to Las Vegas!

It was a fun-filled day for sure--we packed a lot into just one day! We were all wiped out on the drive home!! Brady slept almost the whole drive to St. George and about half of the way home, he was such a trooper!! We love taking trips--both big and small--with our kiddos! It's always an adventure to say the least, but we hope these are the memories they tuck away take with them in the life.
