Sometimes I feel like these posts are pointless, but I always love reading/hearing others' book recommendations so I think it's fun to share what I've enjoyed, too. And another added bonus--it helps me remember what I read, ha! One of the books in this bunch {The Mother-in-Law} was actually a re-read for me, but I didn't realize it at first because I never recorded it on the blog! Note to self: always blog what I read or I'll never remember!
My favorites from this bunch were hands-down Float Plan and Her Last Flight {this one was a little slow to start for me, but I ended up loving!}
This next book was gifted to me by Shelby's teachers last year as we were beginning a new chapter of hybrid homeschooling. I didn't get around to reading the book until this past month, and it was such a timely read! I think I appreciated the book more having a year of homeschool under our belts already. Reading Sarah Mackenzie's words was such a breath of fresh air and a beautiful reminder of why I'm so thankful for our sweet school.
And last but not least, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire! We started the Harry Potter series when Shelby was in Kindergarten, and we've obviously taken our time with the series {much to the girls' dismay at times.} It's crazy to think that Brady is now on the brink of Kindergarten as we were wrapping up book #4. We started this book on our summer trip to GA/FL, and we just finished this week about two-ish weeks ago. The kids absolutely loved it! There are few things I love more than sharing books with my kids!
