Summer Vacay 2021: Part Five {Last Days in Georgia}

Whew, we made it to the fifth & final installment of our summer vacation posts! After two glorious weeks in Ormond Beach, we made the trek back to Georgia to spend a few days there before flying back to San Antonio.

On our first afternoon back in Georgia, we loaded up all of the cousins in Aunt Maleah's car and headed to the Sugarloaf pool. The kids had the pool & water slide almost entirely to themselves, and the grownups had a shady spot to catch up...it was the perfect afternoon!

We spent another day at the Georgia Aquarium with Grammy, Auntie Em, Logan, and Ryan. The last time we'd been to the aquarium, Hadley was Ryan's age! Here's a quick flashback to 2014...

And flash forward to 2021!

We also had a fancy tea party courtesy of Grandma & Granddad...they went all out, and the kids had such a blast!

And lots more fun sprinkled in at the park, getting massages from Grammy, and riding the rope swing!

And just like that, our three weeks came & went--and it was time to head back to San Antonio!

What an absolute gift it was to spend so much time with our families! Now our summer is starting to wind down, and we are gearing up for a new school year! We will be sad to see our slow summer days come to an end, but we are eager for what's ahead!
