For Spring Break, we didn't have anywhere in particular that we wanted to go...so Derek researched where the cheapest flights were, and off to Boston we went! Derek is our resident travel agent and planned the most fun & full itinerary for us! This trip was kind of a milestone trip for us as a traveling family. We have traveled so much with the kids, but this was the first time we've flown to a new city and had to navigate public transportation. So we were navigating buses, airports, and subways with 3 kids and their luggage! The kids totally rocked it, and we had such a good time!
I always want to remember how Brady rides on his suitcase through the parking garage and airport!
With the exception of one previous Delta flight, we have always flown Southwest with the kids. This was the kids' first experience with Jet Blue, and they were BIG fans! Full-size beverages & unlimited screen time built into their seat...sign them up!!! ;)
Seeing {and climbing on!} piles of plowed snow was a whole new experience for our crew!
{writing notes on postcards to mail to their friends!}
{Brady was so excited to find a moose in the Boston Museum of Science after he'd done his Share Board on moose earlier in the school year. Obviously this one picture doesn't do it justice, but our family has visited a TON of museums...and I think this one beats them all! This place was amazing.}
We stumbled upon a few really cool parks while walking around downtown, which was super fun. And we couldn't have asked for better weather! The very first night we arrived it was snowing lightly and super cold still the next day, but after that it was very mild for Boston in early March. We were even able to shed our jackets here & there in the afternoons.
