June came with lots of feelings as it was our last full month in Texas. Honestly, May came with a lot of feelings, too..I just wasn't in a good enough head space when I published the May post to reflect on those feelings just yet. ;) I still have my moments, but overall things have settled down & I can start to appreciate the good that is coming from this move as opposed to focusing on all the hard parts (which have been plentiful). This has undoubtedly been our most challenging PCS to date for a myriad of reasons. But it was made even harder because--aside from our residency days at our Keesler--I don't think we've ever felt so at home. What a blessing it is to love a place and community so deeply that it is so hard to say goodbye to. My thoughts are all over the place as I type this, so hopefully it will make some sense by the time I hit "publish" on this post. I felt like we didn't really get a true summer this year. We went from wrapping up the end of the school year {which is craziness as a teacher + a mama of 3 school-age children} to prepping for our road trip to St. Louis to getting ready for our move. But we managed to squeeze some fun in and make a few memories along the way in June!
