Derek's mom came to see us over Labor Day, and we had the best time visiting with her & playing tour guide!
We randomly picked up some I Spy books at the library while BooBoo was in town, and Hadley & Brady sat with her for the longest time looking through them together!
On a day when Shelby & Derek were both at school/work, Hadley, Brady, and I took BooBoo to the Alaska Zoo, and it was SO much fun! We hadn't been to the zoo since the very first week we moved to Alaska, so it was super fun to see it all again a year later when weren't immeasurably stressed with house-hunting. ;) The weather was perfect, and we just had the best time!
We drove out to Talkeetna one day and enjoyed exploring there!
Mouse nut cookie-making is an annual Christmas tradition for BooBoo, and we decided this was the week the girls would learn how to make them! So we turned on some Christmas music, and they got to work!
Early birthday presents were opened, and thoroughly enjoyed!!
We took a glacier cruise with BooBoo and lucked out with the best weather! We even got to see an otter in person, which was just the coolest thing ever since Brady, Hadley, and I have been reading the book Odder by Katherine Applegate.
