Top Five Friday

I haven't done a Top Five Friday post in the longest time, so I figured we should give this a whirl again! So here we go: five things I am currently loving..in no particular order :)

5. {THIS} free printable to welcome new neighbors.

I absolutely love this idea! Since we live on base, we constantly have new neighbors coming & going! We just recently had new neighbors move in right next door, and we brought this to them along with some cupcakes to welcome them to the neighborhood. I think it's the perfect way to welcome someone to a new town!

4. Nashville & Parenthood
I am usually not a very big TV watcher. It always amazes Derek that Shelby and I can spend the entire day at home without ever turning the TV on. Usually we watch the news for about 5 minutes in the morning while Shelby drinks her milk, but that's about it. Derek, on the other hand, loves to have the TV on! ;)  Now that I have that little sidenote out of the way....Derek & I have been watching these two shows together--Nashville & Parenthood--recently & LOVING them! We are watching Parenthood on Netflix and just started Season 2. And I'm all about Nashville...I am totally rooting for Rayna & Deacon to get together! We're also watching American Idol & Biggest Loser again this season. We have really enjoyed AI {with the exception of Nikki Minaj..can't stand her!}, and Biggest Loser has pretty much been the same ole same ole this year in my opinion.

3. Curtain added to laundry room
This is such a small little update, but it has made the biggest difference to me! I last shared our laundry room with you {HERE}. You can kind of see in those pictures that we have a long countertop at the back of the laundry room with a lot of empty space underneath. I never liked that empty space b/c you could see the pipes from the sink, but I also loved all that empty space underneath b/c it became a great place to store bulky items & other odds and ends. But then I hated it b/c you could see all my storage if I left the laundry room door open. Well, we had a little fabric leftover from when Derek made our living room curtains this summer, so we used it to put up a curtain underneath the counter to hide all of the storage & pipes..YAY! Every time I walk into the laundry room, it makes me happy!

1. Family time!
My mom & sister are coming into town this weekend to spend a couple days with us here in Biloxi, and then next weekend we are heading to Birmingham to celebrate our niece's 2nd birthday! Lots of fun family time ahead :)
