They had the most delicious cupcakes and a thoughtful little gift basket made up for me, which included lots of cute pink goodies & a very generous gift card to Target. Shelby's favorite thing from the shower was a little crown they had for me to wear that said "Mom to Be" on it...she has enjoyed wearing it and pretending to be a princess! :) I was totally surprised by the thoughtful & generosity of the board members..it was such a sweet surprise!
And speaking of our little bebe on the way...I had my 39wk appointment this morning. Nothing really new to report as of yet! When they were pressing down on my belly to feel where the head, etc. was, they again commented that the baby is head down. Her next comment was to tell me that the baby was still up really high and had not dropped at all yet. This was so funny to me b/c I have had several friends tell me how it looks like the baby has dropped and is ready to come. ;) But I think I just tend to carry my babies lower than others do...when strangers comment on my pregnancy, they often say "Oh you mst be having a boy!" b/c of the old wives tale about carrying low meaning it's a boy.
My next appointment is on Tuesday, March 12th, which apparently is my due date. ;) I went 38 weeks of this pregnancy thinking my due date was March 13th, but apparently the hospital's records have indicated it was March 12th from the get-go. Oops! ;)
