After we left Epcot, we headed back to our hotel for naps. Here is Shelby napping in Mommy & Daddy's bed. She looks so little in that big bed!! :)
Naps were in order for everyone b/c we spent the evening at Magic Kingdom and stayed out way past bedtimes in order to see the Disney Electric Parade at 9pm. It was a blast!!
Shelby posing with a statue of Mickey Mouse in our hotel's lobb before we headed out to Magic Kingdom.
Mommy & Shelbo riding Dumbo!
Mommy & Shelby on Shelby's very 1st rollercoaster...we couldn't believe our 2 year old was tall enough for a rollercoaster!
A little blurry...but you can tell Shelby was loving it!
Shelby's 1st rollercoaster: The Barnstormer at Magic Kingdom
Proof that Shelby was tall enough to get on the rollercoaster ;)
Dumbo was a big hit, so Shelby rode it several times! :) Here's Shelby riding with Grampy.
Time for the parade! We had a great time watching the parade & eating dessert.
Shelby LOVED the parade!
She kept turning around to tell me everything that she was seeing...it was so sweet!
As soon as she this dragon and realized someone was riding it, she quickly yelled out: "Be careful up there!" ;)
Riding "The People Mover" at Magic Kingdom
Cinderella's Castle lit up at night
We discovered that late afternoons/evenings are really the best time of day to do the parks at Disney World--we didn't have to worry about sunscreen, heat, or long lines! From the breakfast with the princesses to being able to ride Dumbo over & over again since there was no wait to seeing Shelby's face light up at the parade, this was by far my favorite day of our trip at Disney World!
Next up is the pictures from our breakfast with the Disney Princesses! :)
