Here's some of my Friday Favorites to kick off the weekend!

 5. Harry Conick, Jr.

We weren't all that excited about American Idol this season until we heard that Harry Connick, Jr. was joining the cast of judges. Derek & I were both anxious to see what the new panel would be like, and let me just tell you: WE ARE LOVING IT! Harry is seriously HILARIOUS. I love him on the show! And I love that the auditions portion of AI somehow evolved into such a feel-good show with this current cast of judges. As Hollywood Week began & we got closer & closer to the Top 13, I love that Harry maintained his sense of humor on the show but also stayed true to his role as a judge.

4.Tommee Tippee Bibs

These bibs can be found {HERE} at Amazon, but we got ours at Target. You may remember me posting about the Baby Bjorn bib {HERE} in a previous Top Five Friday post. We still love the Bjorn bib; but since we were only using that one bib, I would get so mad when we would forget to throw it in the diaper bag before going out to eat. And if I did remember to pack it, it was always so bulky in the diaper bag. After hearing me complain one too many times, Derek actually spotted these TT bibs in the baby aisle at Target & they were the perfect solution!! They are just as god at catching the dropped food, but they fold up for the diaper bag...HOORAY! It's the little things in life, people!!

3. What Alice Forgot

 
This is our Book Club book for next month, and I just finished reading it last weekend on our trip to Birmingham. LOVED this book! Definitely one of new favorites! I highly recommend it!


2. McAlister's

I've always liked McAlister's just fine, but we LOVE it these days! We literally eat there about once a week. We have one right outside the gate, so it's super convenient for us. Add that to the fact they have free kids meals Sunday-Thursday, and it's a no-brainer for us! We had a cold, rainy day one day this week & we were all feeling cooped up & stir-crazy...so we loaded up in the car to head to dinner at McAlister's, and everyone left in a delightful mood! I love going out to eat at places where all 4 of us enjoy it...McAlister's & Chick-fil-a are definitely our two go-to places.

1. The PERFECT jeans!
I've finally found the perfect jeans! Well, perfect for me that is! ;) And finding perfect clothes is no easy feat after having kids, so this is big news! To me, perfect jeans look cute but are also super comfortable. Spending all day on the floor playing with the girls & doing chores, I need cute comfy clothes otherwise I will be yoga pants 7 days a week! None of the jeans I had were comfortable enough to spend all day in until I found these:

And behold, they are from Tar-jay no less. I bought my first pair a couple of weeks ago & after I about wore them out, I went back to buy another pair in a different wash last week...not only were they on sale from $27.99 down to $19.99, there was an additional 20% off coupon on Target's Cartwheel app! So what makes these jeans so amazing? They are super cute and the best part....they are STRETCHY! They fit snugly & hug your curves if you will, but b/c they have some stretch they're not the uncomfortable kind of snug. These jeans are seriously revolutionary in my little world. My pre-baby self would be dying at the fact that I'm buying stretch jeans at Target for less than 20 bucks! It's funny how your priorities change over the years. ;)  I serioulsy would have paid GOOD money for these jeans b/c they are so comfortable, but I love them even more b/c they're so cheap!
