I would love to finish up our blog post about our trip to GA & do a post on the start of our Christmas season, but I'm too tired to upload all of the pictures! ;) After getting back on Friday afternoon, we hit the ground running & haven't stopped since! Hadley fell asleep in the car on the way home from the aiport (which NEVER happens), so we took advantage of that. Shelby & I ran into Target to pick up a few staples for our fridge & pantry while Derek stayed in the car with our sleeping bebe. Once we got home, the girls happily played in the living room together (despite no naps, other than Hadley's 30 minute car nap) while Derek & I got everything unpacked and then we went for a family run/playground time. We spent Saturday & Sunday washing cars, getting the indoor & outdoor decorations put up, bought a new artificial tree to replace our old card tree (it was looking sad after the move!), Derek went into work for a few hours to catch up from his week of leave, and two more family runs (we had to make up for all of our holiday eating, ha!). I think the girls were just happy to be home, so theire cooperative attitudes really enabled us to get a lot done!! It felt good to start our week today off on the right foot, but we're defintiely exhausted!
Hopefully I'll finish up our Thanksgiving recap later this week, but I just wanted to share this video of the girls calling the Dawgs despite the sad outcome of our game this weekend. The girls are very into calling the Dawgs lately--every time either of them sees the Georgia G anywhere, they immediately call the Dawgs. It amazes me that Hadley can spot the Georgia G already! This video cracks me up b/c Hadley was being so shy and reserved, and she is usually anything but shy & reserved! ;)
Go Dawgs, and Happy Cyber Monday! I'm off to finish my online shopping! :)
