Life Lately

Whew, it's hard to believe that this time last week my mom was still here...with the week we've had, it seems like an eternity ago! Nothing crazy has happened, it just feels like we haven't been able to catch our breath! I was behind on birthday cards & Hadley's thank you notes, library books were overdue, and today marked my first trip to HEB since before my mom's arrival on March 17th if that tells you anything, ha! ;)  This week my days have been full of taking care of our two little sickies & watching the Goins boys. We kept Will for a little bit on Monday morning & then kept both boys yesterday afternoon while Angela had an ultrasound. Even though the girls weren't 100%, they had so much fun playing with their buddies!!! :)

The last time we kept Will without Adam, Shelby was just not having it. She was so
upset the entire time that her friend wasn't there, and she had the worst attitude. So
on Monday, I told her that I needed her to help me the babysitter & it worked like a
charm! She was so into it! :)

We told Shelby that foods with Vitamin C would help her feel better, so now she is totally into reading the nutrition
facts on the labels of everything. We randomly had two juice boxes in the fridge left over from Hadley's party & Shelby
discovered they had Vitamin C, so she insisted that she & Hadley needed to drink them while I made their breakfast. ;)

Once we got the babies in their beds, the big kids got to have some time in the sand box. I was sitting in the rocking chair behind
them & having the BEST time listening to their imaginative play...four year olds are so fun!!!

After coming in from outside, these two wanted to play the "sleep game" & watch Frozen ;)

Now that we're feeling a little more caught up on life & we're turning the corner on our colds (and I fainlly made it to HEB today, hallelujah!) I'll try to get back up to speed on the blog soon! :)
