Today was Shelby's first field trip!!! And I got to go along as a chaperone!! I was so, so excited to be able to tag along with her sweet class! Now that Derek is finally done with training (med school, residency, & fellowship), he has so much more flexibility with his schedule, and we don't take this for granted!!!! So Derek was able to stay home from work today to get Hadley dropped off at preschool and take care of Brady while I was with Shelby. It was so fun for me to get some special time with Shelby, and Hadley had a blast going to preschool with "just the blue eye BFFs" (what she refers to herself, Brady, and Derek as since they all three have blue eyes--blue eyes are a VERY big deal to Hadley, ha!).
