While all of our friends & family on the east coast had to stay up late watching the game, Derek had to sneak out of work early on Monday to ensure he didn't miss kick-off. ;) We watched the majority of the first half together as a family before putting the kids to bed.
The Dawgs were up 13-0 when I was getting the girls ready for bed, and they excitedly picked out their victory outfits to sport at school the next day. The game obviously didn't end up as we hoped, but we have nothing to hang our heads about! So the girls still proudly sported their UGA gear to school again today:
Their red & black is a little hard to see under all that rain gear! The weather in Las Vegas today certainly seemed fitting after last night's game. Our city hadn't seen rain since August 21st, which ironically was the day of the solar eclipse. Brady was very confused about the rain & the girls were ecstatic about the puddles!
It was such an amazing season, and we're so proud of our alma mater! We're excited for the future of the Bulldog Nation with Kirby Smart at the helm--this is only the beginning!
