Snow WEEK in Pictures, Part 3

Whew, here is the very last installment of snow pictures! :)

Just as almost all of our snow was melting from Monday, it started snowing again during breakfast on Thursday morning & didn't stop until dinnertime. It was unbelievable! This was our kiddos' very first time being outside when snow was actively falling, so it was pretty exciting for us!

Can you spot the perfect little snowflake in the picture below that Hadley caught on her mitten?! We were all very tickled by this!

By Thursday, we had it down to a science getting everyone dressed for snow play and then a specific system for getting everything dry before round 2 of playing outside after Brady's nap. We had to do everything just so because we either didn't have access to energy/water or we were actively trying to conserve.

These last few pictures below were taken on Friday morning, our very last chance to play in the snow! By the time we'd finished lunch on Friday afternoon, it was all gone!

And by Saturday, Derek was outside in short sleeves doing yardwork and pool maintenance! Weather is crazy!! When we ventured out to the stores after the snow had melted, this is what we found....

It took a surprisingly long time for store shelves across the city & state to return to normal. Baked cheetos are a pantry staple in our house, and we were just finally able to get some yesterday--almost a full month after the snow! 

This was an adventure that we won't soon forget!
