Cross Country 2024

Cross country season ended about a month ago in early October, but I just realized this post never published! It's so bizarre seeing all of the green in these pictures now that we are in a full-on winter wonderland here! But without further ado, here is a look back at the girls' cross country season. The season ran from late August-early October. The girls practiced every single day after school from 4:15-5:45pm and competed in about 6 or 7 meets.

What a gift it was to have the girls both running cross country together at their school this year! I kept having flashbacks of my sister & I on the same soccer team for my senior year & her freshman year. It was such a special season for all of us. We are so grateful for the girls had the opportunity to discover how capable they are and enjoy the camaraderie of their friends & teammates. We were blessed with infinitely better weather for the meets than last year, and Brady had the best time cheering his sisters on {and throwing the football with Derek between races!}. And one of our favorite memories of the year was Hadley's race getting re-routed because of multiple moose on their course. ;)  Only in Alaska!

{one of my fave shots of the whole season--Brady fist pumping & cheering for Shelby as she finished her first race of the year}

So thankful for such a memorable season!
