Our Monday in Pictures

This is how our Monday morning started out....

Shelby sleeps in a pack n play in the closet off of the bedroom that my sister & I share in our condo. She has her little sound machine and nightlight in the closet so it feels like "home" to her. She takes super long naps here {aka, we have to go in and wake her up at 5pm most days so we can get her to bed at a decent time!} b/c of all of the running around on the beach & swimming she does. But she is waking up much earlier than normal in the mornings. She's been waking up around 7 or 7:30 most days {she usually sleeps until 8:30 at home..sometimes 9 or 9:30}. I think b/c there are no windows in the closet to let her know when it's daylight/nighttime, she has been thrown off a bit. She has woken up a couple of times in the middle of the night since we've been here and just randomly started singing the ABCs b/c she thinks it's time to wake up. ;)  But I really can't complain about 7 or 7:30 being early...I am so thankful to have such a good sleeper at home and when we travel!

We decided to take a break from the sun today and headed over to Port Orange to try out a free introductory class at The Little Gym for Shelby. We don't have anything like this in Biloxi, so we were excited to try it out!

After Shelby's gymnastics class, we stopped off for a quick lunch at Jimmy John's and picked up some mini cupcakes. Yummy! It was a great way to spend our morning out of the sun!

I have been trying to upload these pictures during naptime, and it has taken an insane amount of time due to the internet service here..ugh! But I wanted to make sure I got these pictures up on the blog, so Derek could see what his baby girl did today :)  I know Derek is really missing Shelby...and the feeling is certainly mutual! After Shelby wakes up from her nap, we are heading back out to the beach & pool..it's a rough life! Ha!

One of my mom's friends who now lives here in FL is coming over tomorrow to visit with us, and then Grampy (my dad) arrives on Wednesday! It's shaping up to be a great week! :)
