Easter Egg Hunt @ Lynn Meadows

We recently became members of our local children's museum, Lynn Meadows. They hosted a little Easter Egg Hunt for their members one evening before Easter..it was so fun! My mom was kind enough to stay home with Miss Hadley, so Derek & I could both go with Shelby. All three of us had a great time together!

It took a lot of encouraging to get Shelby to gather her eggs this year. Last year
she picked up eggs a lot quicker, but this year she knew that candy was in them. ;)
So she was very careful to pick out the big eggs, and then whenever she picked one
up she wanted to open it right then. Ha! She's all about the candy now!

Shelby was SO excited to see the Easter Bunny this year!

After the Egg Hunt, the children's museum was open for playing. We opted
to go behind the museum to play on their outdoor tree houses. We were surprisingly
the only family out there, so Shelby had a blast! And the weather was gorgeous!
Derek took this picture of me from the top of one of the tree houses. I was feeding Shelby
bites of pizza for her dinner every time she ran past me. ;)

We had such a wonderful evening together! So thankful that my mom was here so that all 3 of us could go together!
