Top Five Friday!

Happy Friday, Everyone!! Here's five things that I'm loving this week! :)

5. The Farewell Season of American Idol

American Idol is one of the few shows Derek & I have always enjoyed watching together ever since we got married. There were definitely a few rough seasons with the cast of judges, but the past couple years with Harry, JLo, and Keith have been the absolute perfect combination! I'll be so sad to see AI go, but I'm glad they're going out with a bang!

4. New Pentatonix CD
Shelby & Hadley are both obsessed with our Pentatonix Christmas CD, and then we were at Target last week we saw they had a brand new CD out so of course we had to get it! We have literally been listening to it non-stop in the car ever since we bought it last Friday! ;) 

3. New Step Stools

We ordered these stools around Christmas, and we are loving them! I can't believe it took us 18 months of living in this house to finally order taller stools, but I'm so glad we finally did! We had two cute little pink princess plastic stools that we got while living in Biloxi, but our counters & toilets are both significantly higher in the new house and those old stools just did not cut it. We also have a wooden two step KidKraft stool that we really like, but it hurts like no other when you accidently bump into it and the girls can't move it around b/c it's too heavy. So we ordered one of the taller two-step plastic stools for the kitchen and one for the downstairs bathroom. I love that they're plastic, so even Hadley can easily pick them up and move them around to where ever she needs them.  These taller step stools have made my life immensely easier!! We ordered ours {HERE} from Amazon, but it looks like they're significantly cheaper at Bed Bath & Beyond.

2. New Blog Book!

Ordering our yearly blog books from Blog2Print is no easy feat. Their website is the farthest thing from user-friendly, and sometimes it is just the most infuriating process. But I absolutely love the finished product, so it's worth it in the end! And thank goodness I only have to do it once a year! We just got this in the mail like 2 or 3 days ago, but I'm pretty sure Shelby has almost read through the entire thing cover to cover! She loves our blog books!!

1. Vinylux Nail Polish
So if you're in the market for a new nail polish brand or if you're going to get a manicure, you should totally keep an eye out for CND Vinylux! I had never heard of this brand before, but when my mom & I went for our spa day over Christmas they had this brand. I have no idea how accurate this info is, but the lady at the spa said it was a new line that was made to last longer (7-14 days). I love having my nails painted but rarely do it anymore b/c I just don't have the time to keep maintaining the polish every time it chips, so the idea of a polish lasting this long was very enticing! I was a bit skeptical that the nail polish could really last 14 days, but mine totally did! I'm typically an Essie or OPI girl, but the next time I'm in the market for a new color I will totally be looking for Vinylux! I saw it in stores at Ulta and also on Amazon.
