Hadley's First Day of Preschool, 9.6.2016

September 6th, 2016 marked Hadley's first ever day of preschool! Hadley will go on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 9am-noon at the YMCA.

 

 

 

Finding schools for the girls in Las Vegas was no easy feat! We couldn't find ANY half-day kindergarten programs for Shelby & we couldn't find ANY half-day preschools for Hadley that weren't five-day programs. Who knew finding a simple half-day two or three day a week church preschool would be so challenging?! As it turned out the ONLY place that offered a half-day program that wasn't all five days was the YMCA. I probably never would have even known the Y offered preschool if it wasn't for a mama friend that I made at storytime in San Antonio. She had two girls that were the same ages as our girls, and she sent her older daughter to the Y for preschool & had nothing but good things to say about it. So, we decided to give it a whirl here in Las Vegas! We figured the worst case scenario was we wouldn't like it, and we could keep Hadley home another year before starting Pre-K next year. Well, the Y TOTALLY blew us away! They are super organized & all of their teachers are crazy overqualified. We've only been through the Open House & first week of school, but so far I am really impressed!!! As if that wasn't enough to seal the deal, when I picked Hadley up from her first day she told me: "I loved it so much!" :)  Here's a few more pics I snapped from my phone on her first day.
