Weekend Highlights: Fishing + The Fast & The Furious {a la Brady}

We had a delightful weekend--lots of family time & gorgeous spring weather! We've officially decided that Spring in Las Vegas is just the absolute best!!! We thought by now it would already be getting super hot, and while we have had a few warmer days here and there...it's overall just been very springy! We still just can't get over how nice it is to have a legitimate spring season after 7 years in Biloxi & San Antonio.

Our weekend was really so, so fun--we squeezed in a trip to Cold Stone and Springs Preserve, we swam, we grilled out, the girls' (and mine!!) first fishing trip, Derek made pretzels with the girls, & lots of reading. We didn't take too many pictures, but the ones we did get were keepers for sure!!!

On Saturday after dinner, we decided to go out for a walk around the neighborhood while the girls rode their scooters. Brady isn't a huge stroller fan, so we usually wear him in the carrier for walks. But we decided to pull Hadley's little pink car she had gotten for her first birthday down from one of the shelves in the garage to see if Brady might like it....as it turns out, he LOVED it! He was so cute riding in the car, and he was just so, so happy in there! We couldn't get over it! After we got home from the walk, the girls wanted a turn pushing him. It just doesn't get any cuter than this, people!!!!

These are some good, good days. So very thankful for this family of mine!
