Thank You, Grammy & Grampy!

My sweet, selfless parents were here at the end of April holding down the fort with our kiddos while Derek & I made the trip to San Antonio to go house-hunting. We're currently under contract on a house there & set to close next month, so it was a successful trip! We are immensely grateful to my parents for sacrificing their time and making the cross-country trek to take care of our three crazies while we were away. I think it goes without saying, but trying to find the "just right" house in just a few short days with three kids in tow would have been no easy feat. It was such a blessing to know that our kids were at home being loved on to leave us free to focus on the task at hand. I know I've said this before, but it bears repeating--I don't know who's luckier, me having them as parents or my kids having them as their grandparents. We hit the jackpot for sure!!

Now, onto the pictures!! The first day my parents were here we all went to Valley of Fire State Park, which is about an hour from our house.

I sat next to this sweet baby on the drive to/from Valley of Fire, and he fell asleep on the drive home snuggled up with my hand. Just look at that sweet little face!!!

These next few pictures are all ones that my Mom took to text to me while we were in San Antonio so I could "see" what our babies were up to without us :)  First up are their "out the door" pictures before walking to school!

As you can tell from their big smiles, I don't think they missed Derek or me at all! They were too busy having fun with Grammy & Grampy!!

Hadley was in heaven playing makeup artist to Grammy! If this isn't true love, I don't know what is!

While we were out of town, Shelby had her first of two spring piano recitals. We scheduled a babysitter to stay with Hadley & Brady, so Grammy & Grampy could both take Shelby. She was the first to perform & did great!!

And a few more pictures of our fun with Grammy & Grampy {photo cred to my Dad for a lot of these!}, we seriously cannot thank them enough for making the trip!!

And as if this wasn't enough, my dad has already booked flights for my mom to fly to San Antonio later this summer so she can come and help us get settled in our new house. Grateful doesn't even begin to cover it!!!
