We of course started his birthday morning with birthday donuts & gifts!
Then we headed outside before it got too hot for our last time on the rope swing at Grammy & Grampy's house. Brady isn't a huge fan of the rope swing just yet, so he was thrilled to bring his new cars from BooBoo outside to drive them around in the dirt.
The girls had seen commercials that McDonald's had Toy Story 4 toys in their Happy Meals, so we went there for Brady's birthday lunch! None of the kids particularly love McDonald's food, but they were thrilled with the indoor play area! So it was a big win!
After McDonald's, it was naptime for everyone b/c we had an 8:15pm flight {which ended up being over an hour later thanks to delays}. And we ended up accidentally forgetting Brady's stroller in my parents' garage. Thankfully, Brady did great in the airport walking & everyone did awesome on the flight! {Hooray for new birthday toys & books keeping everyone happy on the plane!} We got to bed around midnight that night, which felt like 1am to our bodies that were still operating on Eastern time.
The next morning, we all slept in & opened birthday gifts straight out of Amazon boxes from Grandma/Granddad & Mommy/Daddy while watching the Women's World Cup 3rd place game. It was the perfect way to recuperate from our long travel day! We had the most wonderful few weeks spending time with family/friends & vacationing at the beach, but there's no place like home!
While we were at his check-up, we had to get a healthcare form filled out for Brady to attend preschool this fall. It's CRAZY to think that in less than two short months, he'll be starting preschool! He is at such a fun age right now, and we just love him to pieces! We're so thankful he's ours!
