Summer Vacation 2019 {Ormond Beach, Part 1}

We spent two weeks at Ormond Beach this summer, so I'll split the beach pictures up into two posts. My parents drove down to the beach with the kids & me, and Derek met us there. Then my sister & her sweet fam joined us for the second week. It was so much fun having everyone together!

Four things that happened almost every day at the beach {aside from swimming & playing in the sand!}:

1. Sunrise Buddies!
Shelby & my parents are early risers. so most of their mornings were spent sharing coffee & chocolate milk as they watched the sunrise. They also took several morning strolls on the beach before everyone else woke up.

2. Card games!
Shelby is our game aficionado, and she was ecstatic to discover our condo was very well stocked in the game department! We played multiple games each & every day!

3. World Cup!
We spent lots of time around the TV watching the Women's World Cup!

4. NAPS!
All three kiddos took naps almost every day while we were at the beach b/c they played so hard outside! And you know I never can resist a picture of a sleeping kid!

Okay, now for the pictures of the fun in the sun!!

Every year that we go to Ormond, we always make at least one trip to the movie theater & play putt-putt at Pirate's Cove...so we kept the tradition alive!

On opening night, we went out for dinner at Steak N Shake and then went to see Toy Store 4! We all loved it!!
