Summer Vacay 2021: Part One {Georgia}

We spent the last three weeks of July out of town for our annual summer trip to Georgia/Florida. We flew to Atlanta to spend a few days visiting family before driving down to Ormond Beach. 

Our flight to Atlanta took off at 6:30am, so that made for some early wake-up calls!

My parents gifted the girls with their own suitcases at Christmas, and Brady got his orange suitcase for his birthday...so this was their first time taking their own suitcases to the airport! {In the past, we just did 1-2 bigger family suitcases.}

Since we arrived in Atlanta with the whole day ahead of us, our first stop was at Auntie Em & Uncle Chris's new house. One of the first orders of business was to confirm that Shelby is now in fact taller than Grammy!

Brady, Hadley, and I all took turns snoozing on the afternoon drive to Grammy & Grampy's house.

We squeezed in lots of time with Derek's parents & sister before we headed to the beach. We even got a chance to celebrate the birthday boys--Brady turned 5 on July 5th & Leland turned 8 on the 6th.
