Last year, we missed out on Ormond Beach due to COVID, so we were super thankful to be able to go this year! We stayed in a condo with my parents for two weeks, and Emily & her fam stayed in a house nearby for the first week we were there. Logan was obsessed with Hadley, and Shelby was obsessed with helping take care of Ryan! It was so fun watching them all play together.
After our eeeeaaaarly morning flight to Atlanta + three full days with family + another early wake-up call to make the drive to the beach, these kids were wiped out!
After getting settled into our condo, we met my sister's fam for a quick, yummy dinner at Stavro's {our fave pizza spot in Ormond} and then let the kids get their feet in the sand for the first time this summer! The very first time they get to play on the beach is one of my favorite memories of every trip!
The rest of our trip was filled with all of the wonderful traditions that make up our annual trips to Ormond--boogie boarding {a new favorite of Hadley's this year!}, drip-drop sand castles, putt-putt, frisbee, and a new favorite pasttime of Brady's...collecting sand fleas. ;)
Every morning, Grampy would get the daily newspaper to read. Apparently these two girlies like to follow in their Grampy's footsteps.
Next up...family pictures on the beach in coordinating outfits per Grammy's request! :)
