Braces

On July 10th, Shelby got braces! Here is the before....

And the after! :)

She had to start with a rubberband on the very first day, and she has been absolutely rocking it! {And she still had a lingering bruise on her jaw/side of her face from a gnarly wave at the beach that can be seen in the photo below.}

And my favorite part of the day was when we pulled our car into the garage after the appointment to see these two eagerly waiting at the door to see their sister's new braces! They were so excited!

Shelby got a little bag of supplies from the orthodontist, and they enthusiastically sat there while Shelby pulled each item out of the bag & explained it to them.

And that evening was the kids' very first ice skating lesson! I was nervous how they were going to feel about it {especially with Shelby adjusting to her braces!} because there was a lot of falling, but they all loved it so much! It's so fun {and convenient!} that all three of them get to be in the same class at the same time together.
