An Early Christmas at Grammy & Grampy's House

After our trip to Punta Cana, we stayed in GA for a couple of days. We got to see a few old friends and spend some extra time with family. We also celebrated an early Christmas with Grammy, Grampy, & Auntie Em! It had been quite a while since all 6 of us were together, so it was a lot of fun!

Shelby got this cute little tutu from Auntie Em, and it stayed on for the remainder of the morning :)

Auntie Em also got Shelby a mangadoodle..it was a big hit!

We had such a wonderful time with my family! Of course we are missing them today on Christmas Eve (and I'm sure we'll be missing them even more tomorrow on Christmas Day), but we are so thankful for the time we had with them!

We hope you all are enjoying a wonderful Christmas Eve today where ever you are! Since it's been just the three of us today, we have tried to fill it with plenty of quality family time & things that would make Christmas special for a two year-old. :)  We spent our morning at Chuck E. Cheese (Shelby's first time!), and when Shelby wakes up from nap we've got Christmas movies & decorating gingerbread house on tap! Then we'll finish our evening off with our traditional reading of Twas the Night Before Christmas and doing milk & cookies for Santa and carrots for the reindeer. :)  Then Shelby will be off to bed, and Derek & I will get to work! We will be busy elves tonight putting together a kitchen set that Grammy & Grampy got for Shelby and wrapping other gifts..so fun!!!
