Stomach Bug, Round 2

Remember back when I posted {THIS} about me having the stomach bug back in October? Well I failed to mention in that post that I was also in the throes of morning sickness at that time, too. I didn't think there could be anything worse than dealing with a stomach bug while pregnant. Now, I know there is something worse--dealing with the stomach bug twice while being pregnant. Yep, our house was hit again with the yuckiness this past weekend. We went to our sweet friend Adam's 2nd birthday party on Saturday afternoon. It was the cutest little train themed party, and we had so much fun! Unfortunately, every single family that went to the party came down with the stomach virus. A few people even ended up in the hospital! It was a doozy. Thankfully, Shelby stayed healthy but Derek & I both got hit hard on Sunday night. But I will say it was much easier enduring the stomach bug with Daddy in town this time around. ;)  Derek took his first "sick day" of residency on Monday as we were both still in pretty bad shape. We are both slowing working our way back to 100% as our appetite and energy levels return to normal. Hopefully we will be as good as new by tomorrow since we are Georgia-bound! I have been running around like crazy today trying to finish up sanitizing our house after the sickness, catch up on laundry, pack, finish up Christmas gifts {we are celebrating with our families early while we are in GA after our trip to Punta Cana}, last minute hair cuts, and the list goes on...but we are excited!! :)
