Life Lately + Grandparents Day

Here's what our life has looked like lately!

This was how Hadley & I spent Shelby's first day of school--at HEB, of course! ;) 
She's such a big girl lately, walking alongside the cart "helping" me instead of riding in the
cart. Where did our baby go?!

This is kind of blurry, but I had to incdlue it. Hadley wasn't so sure about the finger paint when we pulled it out one morning. She was very hesitant to touch it!

Once she got going, she LOVED it!

I realized one afternoon that we were COMPLETELY out of Diet Coke...this is unheard of in the Smith house. So even though heavy rain was on the way, we loaded up to go to Target to get our beloved DC. We of course waited out the rain with popcorn & the children's book section...the girls were in heaven.

Hadley checking out the chickens at Shelby's school before pick-up one afternoon. There really aren't adequate words to describe how much I adore this school. The kids are greeted every morning by the sounds of a rooster crowing, I mean does it get any better than that?!

And the highlight of our life lately has been that we got to spend Grandparents Day with one of the best!!  Only a Grammy would fly across the country with donuts in her carry-on luggage b/c she knows how much her grandbabies adore the special donuts they get at Grammy & Grampy's house. ;)

We've had so much fun with my mom here!! We're so thankful for the time we have with her, and we're very grateful to my dad for sharing her with us!! :)

We literally have to drag Shelby out of this place every single time we go!

Grammy joined us for storytime at the library today, and then these 3 enjoyed some reading time together!
