Christmas Memories

Little ones truly make the holidays magical! It's been so fun creating memories as a family this season & carrying on our own little family traditions and creating a few new ones.

Some of my favorite comments from Shelby about our tree this year that I don't want to forget...

--"Mama, look there's an ice cream cone on our tree!" She was pointing to a white ceramic rattle that commemorates her first Christmas in 2010. ;)
--While looking at an ornament from our honeymoon monogrammed "Sarah and Derek," Shelby (in a very concerned tone) said "I see Sarah and Derek...but where's Shelby?!"

"Helping" Daddy hang the lights outside...in other words, climbing
up & down the ladder over and over and over again. ;)

This is Shelby & Derek's nightly Christmastime routine. We leave the
train off all day, but when Daddy comes home from work this is their special
thing to do together. They both love it!

I love this time of year!
